Women & Youth of Influence Leadership Summit

Kenya's devolution process has created monumental leadership challenges. This Summit aims at preparing women and youth to meet these challenges with decisive leadership.

The Summit will motivate attendees to be leaders who

  • are proactive
  • offer solid solutions
  • and serve as agents of change in every sector of Kenya

The purpose of the event is to foster a leadership culture in which leaders are agile, inspiring, empowering, and ready for the next task.

At the end of the program, selected participants will be honoured with an African Woman Entrepreneur Award. This award will be presented in partnership with the Office of the Governor of Mombasa and the Speaker of the County Assembly.

Summit Theme: Building Towards Strong Leadership

Target Audience: Women and youth, both elected and nominated leaders from county and national governments, learning institutions, and religious organizations. Participation limited to 200 registrants.

Cynthia Musafi Wright

Cynthia Wright: Keynote Speaker at Women and Youth SummitThe Global Leader and current Australia Day Ambassdor. Cynthia is an ex-international African student and remains an active alumna of one of Australia's top universities.

Cynthia is a sought-after global empowerment speaker, social care organizational strategiest, founder of the social enterprise Regions International, and currently the 2019 and 2020 Australia Day Ambassdor, Female Wave of Change Australia Ambasador, and Innovate Africa country leader in Australia. Cynthia is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the TedxPer Manager of Partnerships. She is also a publisher of various articles on resilience, migration, international education, and aged care.
